About LP4Y
LP4Y is convinced of the potential of every young person and believes that empowering them with an entrepreneurial mindset will make them the masters of their life. They create training centers in which young people build their “life project” and develop, through experience, the life skills and professional know-how necessary for them to find work and live happy lives.
Since 2009, in 14 different countries, over 2,600 young adults aged between 17 and 24 years have been put on a path of social integration and professional development thanks to LP4Y’s programs and people.

LP4Y establishes and operates several “Green Villages“. These Green Villages, which are founded outside of cities, offer learning that is specially tailored for youth living in rural communities. In the future, each new country in which LP4Y operates will benefit from several Life Project Centers, and at least one Green Village.
A Green Village is an ecovillage built using natural and traditional building methods that respect the environment and promote a circular economy. A Green Village is a home for the youth and the supervising team; the infrastructure is also made available to the local community.
One of the Green Villages is based in the municipality of Budhanilkantha, a district of Nepal’s capital Kathmandu. This facility supports the professional and social integration young women from various regions of Nepal.
