Our History

Philanthropy has been a key tenet of the P&G Alumni Network since its inception in 2001. To drive even greater impact, the Network formally established the P&G Alumni Foundation as a 501(c)(3) legal entity in 2013, adding a dedicated Foundation Board and funding a part time Executive Director since 2015. In 2016, the Foundation opened a Donor Advised Fund with the Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) to help administer its growing number of grants across the globe, while leveraging best practices. Through June 2022, the P&G Alumni Foundation has impacted 200,000+ people in need across 42 countries. 122+ grants have been awarded where P&G alumni are actively involved, with an estimated impact of 24,000+ people trained, 19,000+ new jobs, and 7,600+ new business start-ups. Throughout the website, you will find compelling stories showcasing lives changed and our global impact. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our 490+ donors and the amazing talent and commitment of our 245+ alumni volunteers.
